BAYAN LEPAS, January 26 — Queensbay Mall welcomes the Lunar New Year with its vibrant festive theme, “Spring Returns, Joy Unbound – Auspicious Horse,” celebrating the Year of the Fire Horse (Bingwu Year).
Symbolising strong momentum, vitality and rapid progress, the mall’s festive décor is inspired by the dynamic energy of the “Red Horse,” featuring bold red hues paired with bamboo elements to represent growth, prosperity and continued success throughout the year.
The centre atrium is transformed into an immersive visual spectacle, highlighted by a towering vertical scroll that flows from modern ink art into a three-dimensional landscape. Golden horses gallop towards a charming tea pavilion, symbolising progress and triumph.
While contemporary Chinese-style horse figures, festive lanterns, bamboo groves and a lantern maze create an atmosphere filled with joy and blessings. Interactive highlights such as the Treasure Well invite shoppers to draw lucky numbers and discover auspicious messages hidden within glowing red lanterns.
Adding to the festive excitement, Queensbay Mall introduces its exclusive “Horse” Blind Box Collection, featuring seven charming designs, including a Hidden Edition Pink “Instant Happiness” for Valentine’s and a Limited Edition Gold “Instant Wealth” symbolising prosperity.
Complemented by performances, activities and festive collaborations, the celebration promises a joyful and memorable start to 2026, as Queensbay Mall wishes everyone a prosperous, happy and unstoppable Year of the Horse.
