KUALA LUMPUR, January 29 — Barisan Nasional (BN) chairman Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi called on the coalition to embrace smarter, non-conventional political strategies, including digital outreach and tactical measures, to prepare for the 16th General Election within the next 22 months.
Speaking at the ninth Better Nation Forum, Zahid highlighted the need to adapt to changing voter demographics, particularly the rise of young first-time voters, and reassess BN’s performance after winning only 30 parliamentary seats in the last election.
He stressed that targeted, timely strategies and bold political communication will be key for BN to regain dominance in GE16.
