KUALA LUMPUR, January 31 – A total of 3.1 million recipients under the Sumbangan Tunai Rahmah (STR) Category Bujang began receiving assistance today through the Sumbangan Asas Rahmah (SARA) mechanism.

As part of the government’s efforts to ease the financial burden on B40, poor and vulnerable single youths affected by rising living costs. The Ministry of Youth and Sports (KBS) said the cash aid is aimed at helping young people.

Including those starting their careers, self-employed or earning low incomes, to meet daily basic needs, while urging recipients to manage the assistance wisely, prioritise essentials, avoid wastage and seize opportunities to improve skills and employability in line with the Malaysia MADANI aspirations.
