GEORGETOWN, February 2 — YBS International Berhad has finalised the strategic acquisition of the Allied Group of Companies in a landmark deal supported by EXIM Bank Malaysia, a move set to transform the Penang-based firm into a large-scale global enterprise by tripling its workforce from 1,000 to 3,000 employees.
And scaling projected revenue from RM100 million to RM600 million. The acquisition underpins YBS’s regional and international expansion, with manufacturing growth in Johor Bahru and Melaka alongside new operations in Vietnam and Bangkok.
