PUTRAJAYA, February 11 — The government has announced a three sen increase in the retail price of diesel in Peninsular Malaysia to RM2.99 per litre for the period of Feb 12 to Feb 18, 2026, in line with rising global oil prices.
The adjustment is made under the weekly Automatic Pricing Mechanism (APM), while retail prices for RON97 remain at RM3.10 per litre, unsubsidised RON95 at RM2.54 per litre, and subsidised RON95 under BUDI95 at RM1.99 per litre. Diesel prices in Sabah, Sarawak and Labuan remain unchanged at RM2.15 per litre.
The Finance Ministry said the government will continue to monitor global crude oil trends and make necessary adjustments, with priority given to price stability and safeguarding the welfare and well-being of the rakyat.
