SEPANG, March 22 — Tourism Malaysia has formalised a strategic partnership with Mitsui Outlet Park KLIA Sepang (MOP KLIA) through the launch of the Tourist Privilege Card (TPC) campaign in support of Visit Malaysia 2026 (VM2026).
Aimed at strengthening the nation’s tourism ecosystem and enhancing its appeal as a premier shopping destination. Officiated by Deputy Tourism, Arts and Culture Minister YB Tuan Chiew Choon Man and witnessed by Japanese Embassy Minister and Deputy Chief of Mission Mr. Daisuke Nihei.
The collaboration will offer exclusive rewards to international visitors from Feb 12 to May 12, 2026, including cabin-size luggage for single-receipt purchases of RM2,500 and above, and travel scales for spending of RM300 and above, subject to availability.
The initiative, supported by joint marketing efforts and promotional events, is expected to boost tourist spending and contribute to the success of VM2026 while reinforcing Malaysia’s position as a vibrant, world-class tourism and retail hub.
