KUALA LUMPUR, February 20 – Malaysian Minister of Entrepreneur and Cooperatives Development, Steven Sim Chee Keong, was admitted to hospital on the fourth day of Lunar New Year after weeks of a hectic work schedule.
In a social media post, he shared that doctors advised him to take some time off to rest, adding optimistically, “I’ll be back soon, stronger! Jalan teruih! Goodness will follow adversity.”
Sim has served as the Member of Parliament for Bukit Mertajam since 2013 and continues his role in Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim’s Unity Government administration.
