KUALA LUMPUR, February 24 — Transport Minister Anthony Loke announced that peak hour frequencies for all Rapid Railservices will be extended throughout Ramadan to better accommodate shifting commuter patterns.
Speaking in the Dewan Rakyat, he said morning peak hours will run from 6.30am to 9.30am, while evening peak periods will be extended from 4pm to 8pm to ensure smoother travel and greater passenger comfort.
Particularly for those heading home to prepare for breaking fast, with the adjustment applying to all LRT and MRT lines including Kelana Jaya, Ampang/Sri Petaling, Kajang and Putrajaya.
