GEORGE TOWN, February 26 — Angkatan Muda Harapan (AMH) Pulau Pinang has announced the official formation of its 2026 State Committee, marking a strategic move to strengthen its organisational structure and streamline youth mobilisation amid an increasingly dynamic political landscape.
The decision was reached unanimously at a joint meeting involving the state youth leaders of Pakatan Harapan’s component parties, namely DAPSY, Angkatan Muda KEADILAN and Pemuda AMANAH, reflecting a shared commitment to unity and more coordinated, people-centric youth engagement.
At the same meeting, AMH Penang also confirmed plans to hold the Penang State Harapan Youth Convention in April 2026, aimed at enhancing inter-party youth cooperation, charting a common direction, and discussing policies focused on economic development, social welfare and the future of young people.
AMH Penang said the newly formed committee and upcoming programmes underscore its commitment to inclusivity, integrity and youth empowerment, positioning the movement as a key driver of positive change and long-term stability for the state.
