KUALA LUMPUR, February 27 — The status of the Opposition leadership in Parliament remains unchanged, with Datuk Seri Hamzah Zainudin confirmed to continue as Opposition Leader, PAS Kota Baru MP Datuk Seri Takiyuddin Hassan said.
Following a meeting with Dewan Rakyat Speaker Tan Sri Johari Abdul. Takiyuddin, who is also Opposition chief whip, noted that no official notification has been submitted to the Speaker and that seating arrangements in the Dewan Rakyat remain the same.
He added that with only two parliamentary sittings left, any immediate changes are unlikely, and no long-term decisions have been made regarding the Opposition bloc despite recent speculation following the sacking of several Bersatu members, including Hamzah.
