Apple has unveiled the new iPhone 17e, the latest addition to its “e” series, bringing upgraded performance, enhanced durability and MagSafe support at a starting price of RM2,999 in Malaysia.

The device features a 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR display protected by Ceramic Shield 2 and is powered by the latest A19 chip built on 3-nanometer technology. It also includes Apple’s in-house C1X modem, delivering faster and more energy-efficient 5G connectivity.

Storage now starts at 256GB, double that of its predecessor. The iPhone 17e sports a 48MP Fusion camera capable of 2x optical-quality telephoto and 4K Dolby Vision recording. MagSafe support enables faster 15W wireless charging and seamless magnetic accessory attachment.

Satellite features such as Emergency SOS and Messages via satellite are also included. In Malaysia, pre-orders begin March 4, with official sales starting March 11, 2026.
