KUALA LUMPUR, March 3 — CIMB Group Holdings Berhad reported a net profit of RM7.9 billion for the financial year ended 31 December 2025, up 1.7% from the previous year, with return on equity rising to 11.3%.
The strong results were driven by disciplined execution of its Forward30 (F30) strategy, which focuses on capital reallocation, digital capabilities, and cross-selling, alongside resilient asset growth and improved non-interest income.
Profit before tax reached RM10.7 billion, translating to earnings per share of 73.1 sen. Reflecting confidence in its performance, CIMB declared a record total dividend of 47.1 sen per share, amounting to RM5.1 billion.
The Group also strengthened long-term value creation through sustainable finance targets of RM300 billion by 2030 and a RM200 million community investment plan. CIMB’s CEO Novan Amirudin emphasized that disciplined execution of its F30 strategy.
Alongside investments in technology and ESG initiatives, positions the bank for continued resilience, growth, and shareholder value creation amid ongoing macroeconomic challenges.
