Apple Inc. has introduced the latest 14- and 16-inch MacBook Pro powered by the all-new M5 Pro and M5 Max chips, delivering breakthrough performance and advanced on-device AI. Built on Apple’s Fusion Architecture, the chips feature an 18-core CPU with six high-performance “super cores”.
And a next-generation GPU equipped with Neural Accelerators in every core. Apple said the new models offer up to four times faster AI performance than the previous generation and up to eight times faster than M1 models.
Enabling professionals to run large language models and AI-driven creative tools directly on the device. The laptops also provide up to 24 hours of battery life and introduce the Apple-designed N1 chip supporting Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6.
The new MacBook Pro doubles SSD speeds up to 14.5GB/s and now starts with 1TB of storage on M5 Pro models and 2TB on M5 Max variants. Unified memory scales to 64GB on M5 Pro and 128GB on M5 Max.
With significantly higher bandwidth for intensive workflows such as 8K video editing and AI model training. Additional features include a Liquid Retina XDR display with nano-texture option, Thunderbolt 5 connectivity.
A 12MP Center Stage camera, studio-quality microphones, and a six-speaker system with Spatial Audio. Available in space black and silver, pre-orders begin March 4, with sales starting March 11.
