KOTA KINABALU, March 9 – Johor Darul Ta’zim F.C. (JDT) delivered a commanding 6-1 victory over Sabah F.C. in their Liga Super 2025/2026 encounter at Stadium Likas.
JDT opened the scoring through No. 9 in the eighth minute via penalty before extending their dominance with goals from No. 29 (21st, 40th), No. 24 (25th, 48th) and No. 88 (46th).
Sabah managed a late consolation through No. 7 in the 88th minute. The match, played before 5,049 spectators under fine weather conditions.
Saw two minutes of added time in the first half and three in the second, with no untoward incidents reported. The result further strengthens JDT’s position in the Liga Super standings as the season progresses.
