Penang FC secured a commanding 5–2 victory over Kelantan The Real Warriors FC in the first leg of the Challenge Cup 2025/2026 semi-final at Stadium Majlis Perbandaran Selayang on March 3.
Penang started strongly with early goals from players No. 15 (2nd minute), No. 32 (5th minute) and No. 8 (14th minute).
Kelantan TRW FC responded with two goals through No. 23 in the 22nd minute and No. 29 in the 38th minute.
Penang FC extended their lead late in the match with goals from No. 67 in the 85th minute and No. 7 via penalty in stoppage time (90+8).
The match saw two minutes of added time in the first half and eight minutes in the second half, with 227 spectators in attendance under clear weather conditions.
