SEOUL, March 10 — Malaysia and South Korea have signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to enhance collaboration against transnational crimes, including online scams, with the agreement enabling rapid sharing of intelligence, joint police operations.
And coordinated efforts on the arrest and repatriation of fugitives, as both nations aim to protect citizens from increasingly sophisticated cybercrime networks in Southeast Asia, while Malaysia also considers joining a South Korea-led global investigative body to combat emerging forms of cybercrime. – BERNAMA
