SEREMBAN, March 10 — Nexperia successfully hosted its Global Supplier Day at its high-volume production facility in Seremban, Negeri Sembilan, bringing together 40 global suppliers to align on the company’s expansion strategy and long-term collaboration as it prepares for an accelerated ramp-up in production capacity.
Nexperia CEO a.i. Stefan Tilger underscored the vital role of suppliers in meeting rising global semiconductor demand, citing the company’s solid financial foundation and commitment to trust-based, long-term partnerships.
While Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA) Executive Director (Manufacturing Development – Non-Resource) TS Norhizam Ibrahim highlighted Malaysia’s growing strategic importance in the global semiconductor ecosystem and the push to integrate capable local firms into global value chains.
The event marked a strategic milestone as Nexperia strengthens geographical diversification and supply reliability, reinforcing Malaysia’s position as a key hub in the global semiconductor industry.
