KUALA LUMPUR, March 10 – Royal Malaysia Police in Penang have dismantled an illegal drug-processing laboratory and arrested two local men aged between 27 and 55 in the Northeast district during an operation from March 6 to March 7.
Authorities seized various cannabis-based drugs including 4,912 grams of compressed cannabis, 2,106 grams of cannabis flowers, cannabis liquid, vape liquids, cannabis-infused biscuits and chocolates.
Police also confiscated drug-processing equipment and chemicals, with the total value of seized drugs estimated at RM196,833. Additional assets including a car and cash worth RM40,500 were also seized.
Bringing the total value of the operation to RM237,333. The suspects tested positive for THC and are being investigated under the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952.
