KUALA LUMPUR, March 12 — Türkiye achieved an all-time high in tourism performance in 2025, welcoming nearly 64 million visitors and generating USD65.23 billion in tourism revenue, according to Culture and Tourism Minister Mehmet Nuri Ersoy at a press conference in İstanbul.

Underscoring the country’s rise as a global tourism powerhouse. Ersoy noted that Türkiye has climbed to fourth place worldwide in visitor arrivals and seventh in tourism revenue by 2024, driven by diversified offerings beyond traditional sun-and-sea tourism.

Into culture, faith, eco, health, gastronomy, cruise and winter tourism, supported by innovative initiatives such as the “Heritage for the Future” vision and Night Museum projects. Russia, Germany and the United Kingdom emerged as Türkiye’s top source markets in 2025.

While the country targets USD68 billion in tourism revenue by 2026.
