SEBERANG JAYA, March 13 – The Ministry of Education is strengthening monitoring efforts to prevent extremist ideologies from infiltrating schools, Education Minister Fadhlina Sidek said.

She noted that the ministry is closely observing student involvement in militant or terrorist-related activities to ensure educational institutions remain safe and free from radical influences.

Fadhlina added that the ministry is working closely with enforcement agencies to address any potential threats. The move follows recent police operations that led to the arrest of several youths suspected of involvement in extremist networks.

Highlighting the need for vigilance to protect students, teachers and the education system.
