KUALA LUMPUR, March 13 – The Malaysian Investment Development Authority (MIDA) will launch the MIDA Expatriate System (MES) on March 16, 2026.
To centralise expatriate application processes for the manufacturing and selected services sectors. The new digital platform allows companies to manage applications from submission to ePass endorsement through a single system.
Reducing duplication and processing time while providing investors with clearer tracking of their applications. MES integrates with the Malaysian Immigration System and MIDA’s InvestMalaysia platform, enabling one-time document submission and a single login for the entire process.
MIDA said the initiative aims to improve efficiency and transparency while strengthening Malaysia’s competitiveness as an investment destination by simplifying how companies hire and manage foreign talent.
