KUALA LUMPUR, March 14 – PKR president and Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim has urged party members to remain united while continuing to push for reforms within the government.
Speaking at a PKR mini convention in Kuching with party members from Sarawak, Anwar acknowledged that the party is not perfect but stressed that efforts to implement reforms must continue.
He said the real test of reform is when a party is in power, not after losing office. Anwar admitted that some reforms have not progressed as quickly as hoped but emphasised the importance of consistency and commitment to change.
He also reminded members that PKR was founded as a movement for justice and national progress, urging leaders and grassroots members to close ranks and strengthen the party’s reform agenda.
