KUALA LUMPUR, March 14 – Intel has announced its new Core Ultra 200S Plus series desktop processors, introducing the Core Ultra 7 270K Plus and Core Ultra 5 250K Plus.

The new chips feature more cores and architectural improvements designed to deliver higher performance for gaming and content creation.

Intel said the processors can provide up to 15% faster gaming performance compared to previous Core Ultra Series 2 desktop processors and significantly stronger multithread capabilities.

The processors also introduce the Intel Binary Optimization Tool, a new technology aimed at improving performance in select games.

The Core Ultra 7 270K Plus includes 24 cores while the Core Ultra 5 250K Plus offers 18 cores, alongside faster memory support of up to DDR5-7200.

The processors will remain compatible with existing 800-series chipset motherboards and are expected to be available through retail partners starting March 26, 2026.
