GEORGE TOWN, March 16 – Kuching City FC secured a narrow 1–0 victory over Penang FC in a Malaysia Super League 2025/2026 match held at Stadium Bandaraya in George Town, Penang. The only goal of the match came in the 40th minute when player No. 19 found the back of the net, giving the visitors a crucial lead before halftime.

Penang FC attempted to respond in the second half but were unable to break through Kuching City’s defence. The match saw a modest crowd of 804 spectators in attendance. Four minutes of added time were played in the first half, while five minutes were added after the regulation time in the second half.

Despite several attempts by the home side to equalise, Kuching City FC maintained their advantage until the final whistle to secure all three points from the encounter. The match commissioner for the game was Halim Saad.
