KUALA LUMPUR, March 19 — Solarvest Holdings Berhad has been appointed as the EPCC partner for a 36MWac solar project in Kangar, Perlis under Malaysia’s LSS5+ programme.

The RM89.5 million contract, awarded by Jubli Pasifik Sdn Bhd, will see the development of a high-efficiency solar farm using advanced photovoltaic and inverter technologies.

Scheduled for completion in February 2028, the project is expected to generate 68,550 MWh annually and offset over 53,000 tonnes of carbon emissions.

Solarvest said the initiative supports Malaysia’s renewable energy goals and strengthens its growing orderbook.
