PETALING JAYA, March 20 — Anwar Ibrahim has welcomed a reconciliation initiative between Muslim and Hindu NGOs, describing it as a sign of national maturity and commitment to unity.
The dialogue, held at the Putrajaya International Convention Centre, brought together representatives to address sensitive issues and promote mutual understanding.
The meeting, part of the Harmoni Madani programme, is seen as a positive step in easing tensions that had sparked online debates.
Anwar praised the effort as reflecting Malaysia’s core values of compassion, respect, and togetherness, urging continued dialogue to strengthen harmony among communities.
