CUPERTINO, March 23 — Apple has acquired MotionVFX, a company known for producing professional visual effects templates and plugins widely used by video editors.
MotionVFX announced that it is joining Apple to continue empowering creators and editors to produce high-quality content.
Founded in 2009 and headquartered in Warsaw, Poland, the company has spent over 15 years developing motion graphics tools and effects for creative professionals.
MotionVFX’s products are widely used with Apple’s editing software, particularly Final Cut Pro, as well as Motion and DaVinci Resolve.
Its portfolio includes transitions, titles, cinematic templates, and visual effects designed to enhance video production workflows.
As part of the acquisition, around 70 MotionVFX employees will join Apple. The move is expected to further strengthen Apple’s ecosystem for creators and video editors.
Apple has not officially commented on the acquisition.
