KUALA LUMPUR, March 23 — Tenable warns in its Cloud and AI Security Risk Report 2026 that organisations are facing a widening “AI exposure gap” as rapid AI and cloud adoption outpaces security controls.
With 86 per cent hosting critical third-party code vulnerabilities and 65 per cent exposing unused cloud credentials, some with administrative privileges. The report also found non-human identities such as AI agents now pose greater risk than human users.
Underscoring the need for stronger identity governance and unified exposure management to curb supply chain and cloud security threats.
