KUALA LUMPUR, March 23 – Tourism Malaysia Bangkok hosted three networking sessions from February 11 to 13 with travel agencies in Narathiwat, Pattani, and Songkhla provinces to strengthen ties and explore strategies to increase Thai visitor arrivals via land borders.

Which accounted for 91.6% of the 2.5 million Thai visitors in 2025. Led by Director of International Promotion (ASEAN) Madam Baizuri Baharum, the initiative coincided with the 11th Melayu Day 2026 in Yala province and featured VM2026 promotional activities.

Including meet-and-greets with mascots Wira & Manja, quizzes, lucky draws, and tourism package sales, aiming to encourage travelers to explore Malaysia beyond bordering states.
