PUTRAJAYA, March 25 — Tourism Malaysia successfully hosted the Mega Fam Iftar 2026 programme from 27 February to 3 March, bringing together 24 media representatives and travel agents from seven ASEAN countries to experience Malaysia’s vibrant Ramadan celebrations.

The initiative supports Visit Malaysia 2026 (VM2026), promoting the nation as a premier cultural and gastronomic destination. Participants enjoyed immersive experiences including Iftar@KL, Festival Ramadan Putrajaya, and visits to iconic sites such as KL Tower and Sultan Abdul Samad Building.

The programme highlighted Malaysia’s rich culinary heritage, festive traditions, and multicultural unity. Tourism Malaysia expects these efforts to enhance international exposure, foster collaborative promotional initiatives.

And further solidify Malaysia’s reputation as a leading gastronomy-driven destination in the region while driving sustainable tourism growth under VM2026.
