KUALA LUMPUR, March 26 – Catenary Capital Sdn Bhd has signed a Heads of Agreement (HoA) with Rivertree STF Synergies Berhad (RSSB) and Q Centre Management Sdn Bhd to develop up to four Centralised Labour Quarters (CLQ) in the Klang Valle.

With an estimated development value of RM600 million. The projects will provide a combined capacity of 28,800 beds, addressing growing demand for compliant worker accommodation in Malaysia’s key industrial zones.

The first project, Q Centre @ Teratai in Meru, Klang, will feature 9,000 beds with an estimated value of RM171 million. The remaining three proposed CLQ developments are expected to add 19,800 beds. Industry leaders said the initiative will help address accommodation gaps.

Under the Workers’ Minimum Standards of Housing and Amenities Act 1990 while supporting Selangor’s expanding industrial workforce and improving compliance, productivity, and living standards for foreign workers.
