KUALA LUMPUR, March 26 – IHH Healthcare Malaysia marked its third consecutive year in Newsweek’s World’s Best Hospitals 2026 rankings, with 12 of its 18 hospitals featured globally.
Gleneagles Hospital Kuala Lumpur rose to 193rd place worldwide, improving from 204th in 2025 and 223rd in 2024, while retaining its position as Malaysia’s second-highest ranked private hospital.
Prince Court Medical Centre, Pantai Hospital Kuala Lumpur, Island Hospital and Gleneagles Hospital Penang placed in Malaysia’s Top 10.
The rankings, developed with global data firm Statista, assess medical performance, patient experience and expert recommendations.
CEO Dr Kamal Amzan said the recognition reflects sustained governance, rigorous outcome measurement and consistent patient safety standards across the network.
