BAYAN LEPAS, March 27 – Monolithic Power Systems, Inc. (MPS), a global leader in high-performance power solutions, has officially opened its first engineering and test centre in Penang, which will also serve as the company’s Malaysia headquarters.
The facility will support MPS’s growing global operations and strengthen its testing capabilities for advanced power management technologies. Penang Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow said the investment aligns with the state’s semiconductor development vision.
Reinforcing Penang’s role as Malaysia’s semiconductor hub. MPS executive Deming Xiao noted the new centre will enhance global capabilities and support the company’s long-term expansion strategy.
