KUALA LUMPUR, March 27 – Communications Minister Datuk Fahmi Fadzil announced plans to build a new health clinic and primary school in Lembah Pantai to improve public facilities for residents.
The proposed health clinic, estimated to cost RM60 million, will be located in the Pantai Central Park area and is expected to provide larger and more comprehensive services compared to the existing Tanglin Health Clinic.
Fahmi, who is also the Lembah Pantai Member of Parliament, said a new primary school, Sekolah Kebangsaan Seri Pantai, will be developed at the former site of SMK Seri Pantai.
The school will feature 36 classrooms and help ease overcrowding at nearby primary schools. Meanwhile, Kuala Lumpur City Hall is also studying a proposal to redevelop Bazaria Pantai.
With plans that may include a multi-storey complex with improved facilities and parking.
