GEORGE TOWN, March 27 — Penang FC has announced its first strategic collaboration with the Football Association of Penang (FAP) to manage and develop Under-18 and Under-20 teams for the 2026 season.
The partnership aims to strengthen Penang’s football development ecosystem, with competitions set to run from April to November.
Under the initiative, Penang FC will provide funding, while FAP oversees team management and operations, including structured salary payments and talent development pathways.
The club expressed confidence that the collaboration will help identify and nurture local talents for future inclusion in the senior squad.
Meanwhile, Penang FC is set to face Sabah FC in the first-leg final of the MFL Challenge Cup on April 4 at Stadium Bandaraya.
Supporters are encouraged to attend, with free entry offered to senior citizens aged 60 and above, as well as those born in April.
