KUALA LUMPUR, March 28 – Tune Protect Malaysia and Verdant Solar have introduced Malaysia’s first integrated residential solar and protection model to encourage rooftop solar adoption.
The initiative combines Verdant Solar’s installation services with Tune Protect’s insurance coverage, providing homeowners with protection against accidental damage and potential loss of electricity savings.
The model aims to address concerns about financial risks and system disruptions, giving homeowners greater confidence to adopt solar energy.
With more than 97% of Malaysian homes still without rooftop solar, the partnership seeks to support sustainable living and contribute to Malaysia’s long-term renewable energy transition.
