KUALA LUMPUR, March 29 — Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) has dismissed rumours claiming that deputy president Nurul Izzah Anwar has resigned, calling them “fake news.”
Party information chief Datuk Fahmi Fadzil denied the speculation, which had circulated widely on social media earlier today.
Nurul Izzah, daughter of PKR president Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, won last year’s deputy presidency elections with 9,803 votes, defeating incumbent Datuk Seri Rafizi Ramli.
The party affirmed that she remains in her post for the 2025–2028 term, quelling any public concerns about leadership changes within PKR.
