GEORGE TOWN, March 29 — Penang Chief Minister Chow Kon Yeow said the possibility of implementing work-from-home (WFH) arrangements for the public sector may be discussed at the upcoming state executive council meeting next Wednesday.
He noted that not all roles are suitable for remote work, and careful evaluation is needed to ensure service delivery remains unaffected, while the private sector will decide independently.
Chow also addressed the ongoing heatwave, highlighting that water supply remains stable. He said Penang is closely monitoring Sungai Muda, its main raw water source.
Particularly developments in Kedah, while assuring that dam and river levels remain at comfortable levels.
