KUALA LUMPUR, March 30 — Barisan Nasional (BN) Secretary-General Zambry Abdul Kadir has welcomed MIC’s decision to remain within the coalition.
Describing it as a clear reflection of loyalty and political maturity. He said the move reflects the alliance’s long-standing foundation since the Perikatan era and its continuity through BN.
Built on trust, shared responsibility, and resilience despite evolving political challenges. Zambry added that the decision underscores the importance of stability, multiracial cooperation, and BN’s ability to reform and stay relevant.
He stressed that in a fragmented political landscape, such unity is vital for national harmony. He also noted that the coalition will continue strengthening its internal structure.
While rejecting divisive politics, emphasising that unity, moderation, and responsibility remain key to building a stable and prosperous Malaysia.
