GEORGE TOWN, April 1 — Traffic across Penang was severely disrupted this morning following multiple accidents on key routes.
On Penang Bridge, motorists faced delays of up to two hours heading from the island to Perai after a fatal crash involving a car and motorcycle blocked the right and middle lanes at KM2.4.
Meanwhile, congestion was also reported along Tun Dr Lim Chong Eu Highway, with delays of about 30 minutes from Gelugor to Georgetown due to another accident near Jelutong.
Authorities have advised drivers to remain cautious and consider alternative routes as traffic conditions remain slow during peak hours.
