YINCHUAN, April 12 — Malaysia and China signed 26 cooperation agreements worth RM289 million at the Sixth Belt and Road China-Malaysia Business Dialogue in Ningxia.
Chang Lih Kang represented Malaysia at the event, which brought together over 200 government and business leaders to strengthen ties in trade, technology, agriculture, and tourism.
The agreements mark a deepening of bilateral relations beyond traditional trade into areas such as artificial intelligence and energy transition.
Officials highlighted growing industrial collaboration and integrated supply chains, with China remaining Malaysia’s largest trading partner.
The dialogue also underscored rising tourism and agricultural exchanges, reinforcing Ningxia’s role as a key hub for Malaysia-China cooperation.
