SHAH ALAM, April 13 — Amirudin Shari announced that Selangor will launch a special task force by Monday to address the impact of the global energy crisis on residents and the state economy.
The task force will comprise experts in economics, finance, and sectors such as oil and gas, and will review proposals from government departments and GLCs for implementation.
Amirudin said the task force will focus on people’s welfare and economic sustainability, coordinating closely with federal measures, including work-from-home policies, to ensure consistent action.
He added that state government programmes and the April legislative assembly session will proceed as planned, while emphasizing public communication on the steps being taken to mitigate energy and food supply risks.
