KUALA LUMPUR, April 16 — Petronas has confirmed that fuel supply across its station network nationwide will remain secure until the end of June 2026.
Extending its earlier projection by one month as global energy markets continue to face pressure from ongoing West Asia tensions.
The national oil company, which supplies around 50% of Malaysia’s fuel demand through its retail arm Petronas Dagangan Bhd.
Said it is actively managing its supply chain to ensure sufficient stock across all stations. Petronas also reassured that other oil companies continue to support national supply stability.
In its statement, the company urged the public to purchase fuel responsibly based on daily needs and to avoid panic buying or hoarding.
Noting that disciplined consumption is key to maintaining smooth nationwide distribution during periods of global uncertainty.
