GEORGE TOWN, April 21 – A 13-year-old girl who was found unconscious at a condominium in Tanjung Tokongon April 20 has been confirmed to have died from multiple injuries caused by a fall from height.
Police said the victim is believed to have fallen from the 16th floor of her residence and landed on the 8th floor at 5.49pm.
She was pronounced dead at the scene, and initial investigations found no signs of foul play.
A post-mortem conducted at the Forensic Department of Hospital Pulau Pinang on April 21 confirmed the cause of death as severe injuries consistent with a high fall.
Authorities have classified the case as a sudden death, and a report has been opened to facilitate further investigation.
