KUALA LUMPUR, April 22 — Fuel prices across Malaysia will be lowered for the week of 23 to 29 April 2026 in line with declining global oil prices under the Automatic Pricing Mechanism.
Announced the Fahmi Fadzil in his role as government spokesperson. The Ministry of Finance said the adjustment reflects lower international market trends.
Though prices remain higher than pre-conflict levels in West Asia. For the week, RON97 will fall to RM4.85 per litre (down 25 sen), RON95 to RM3.87 (down 15 sen).
And diesel in Peninsular Malaysia to RM5.12 (down 85 sen). Targeted subsidy prices remain unchanged, including BUDI95 at RM1.99 per litre.
The government said it will continue monitoring global volatility to ensure stable supply and protect consumers from sharp fluctuations.
