KANGAR, April 23 — A total of 15 committee members from Parti Keadilan Rakyat’s Kangar division, including the deputy chief, have resigned following repeated absences from official meetings.
Division chief Noor Amin Ahmad confirmed the departures, saying show-cause letters had been issued and objections filed were deemed invalid.
Noor Amin dismissed claims of internal turmoil, attributing the resignations to dissatisfaction after last year’s party elections.
He said some members had little to no attendance record and stressed his authority to appoint new committee members to maintain quorum and ensure smooth operations within the division.
