KUALA LUMPUR, April 23 — Tealive operator Loob Holding has once again postponed its planned IPO, with founder and CEO Bryan Loo Woi Lip confirming a strategic shift towards the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) segment.
The decision follows weaker-than-expected financial performance and intensifying competition, particularly from emerging Chinese beverage brands.
Bryan Loo described the delay as a “timing issue,” stressing that listing plans remain intact while the group prioritises long-term value creation.
With over 950 Tealive outlets and 140 Bask Bear stores, Loob continues expanding its F&B footprint while recalibrating its business strategy in a more competitive market landscape.
