PUTRAJAYA, April 27 — Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim has called for stronger national resilience as Malaysia faces potential economic strain from rising global costs and supply disruptions.
While petroleum supply is expected to remain stable in the near term, he warned of possible shortages in diesel and fertilisers that could impact the domestic economy.
Speaking at a national forum, Anwar stressed that unity remains Malaysia’s greatest strength in navigating global uncertainties, including ongoing geopolitical conflicts.
He reaffirmed the country’s commitment to peace and justice, highlighting humanitarian concerns in conflict zones while urging collective resolve to address economic and social challenges ahead.
