BUKIT MERTAJAM, April 27 — The investigation into allegations involving Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission) chief commissioner Azam Baki over.
Purported share ownership has been completed and is now awaiting a final decision by the government, said government spokesperson Datuk Fahmi Fadzil.
Fahmi said the findings have already been presented to the Cabinet and are now under the purview of the Chief Secretary to the Government.
He stressed that details of the probe cannot be disclosed at this stage to avoid affecting ongoing administrative processes, with the final decision to be announced once concluded.
The case stemmed from earlier allegations reported by international media regarding his alleged shareholdings in a financial firm.
