KUALA LUMPUR, April 27 — Ng Sze Han has condemned a viral social media post depicting a pig in royal ceremonial attire allegedly linked to Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah.
Calling it disrespectful and harmful to national harmony. He urged authorities to take swift action against those responsible.
Ng warned that such content could incite tension in Malaysia’s multi-ethnic society and called on the public to refrain from sharing offensive material.
Other Selangor leaders echoed the call, urging Royal Malaysia Police and Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission to investigate and remove the content.
Stressing the need to uphold respect for the royal institution.
